Nan Bouchard is the Vice President and Program Manager for the C-17 Globemaster III program, part of the Mobility, Surveillance and Engagement Division of Boeing Military Aircraft. Bouchard is responsible for C-17 business, technical, production and support operations and emerging fixed-wing mobility requirements for U.S. and international customers. Bouchard was appointed to this position in January 2013.
Most recently, Bouchard was Vice President and General Manager of Program Management for Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS), where she was responsible for assisting program managers throughout the program lifecycle with implementation of program management’s best practices, processes and tools, program planning and Lean+ integration. She also served as the BDS Southern California Regional Executive participating in California state and local government activities and providing leadership to Boeing’s Global Corporate Citizenship efforts in the community.
Since joining the company in 1981, Bouchard has served in leadership positions of increasing responsibility in operations, engineering and program management. She served as the Vice President and General Manager of the former Command, Control, and Communications Networks (C3 Networks) division of Boeing Network & Space Systems, and as the Vice President of BDS Engineering & Mission Assurance. She also led the Development Process Excellence Initiative focused on the effectiveness of development program processes across the enterprise.
Bouchard also held positions as Program Manager, Deputy Program Manager and Chief Engineer of a proprietary program and served in management positions on the International Space Station program. She began her career at Rockwell International, Rocketdyne Division, as a member of the technical staff. Bouchard holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Rice University.
